Projekt jest realizowany w partnerstwie z Uniwersytetem Kłajpedzkim (Litwa), Uniwersytetem Łotwy w Rydze oraz Uniwersytetem Tartu (Estonia).

The project is implemented in partnership with the University of Klaipėda (Lithuania), the University of Latvia in Riga and the University of Tartu (Estonia).

W dniach 12-16 czerwca br. badacze z Instytutu Nauk Politycznych UWM zrealizowali wizytę studyjną na Uniwersytecie Kłajpedzkim.

Profesorowie Waldemar Tomaszewski, Wojciech Kotowicz oraz Krzysztof Żęgota uczestniczyli w spotkaniach z naukowcami z Uniwersytetu Kłajpedzkiego. Wraz z prof. Jaroslavem Dvorakiem omówiono postępy w projekcie "Strengthening the identity of the Baltic Sea Region borderlands. Building cooperation for the youth" oraz jego dalszą koordynację. Przedyskutowano również badania ankietowe realizowane w ramach projektu oraz planowaną wspólną konferencję naukową.

Since the beginning of December 2022 The Institute of Political Science UWM inaugurates the project "Strengthening the identity of the Baltic Sea Region borderlands. Building cooperation for the youth".

The project is implemented in partnership with the University of Klaipėda (Lithuania), the University of Latvia in Riga and the University of Tartu (Estonia). The main objective of the project is to strengthen the sense of belonging to the Baltic Sea Region and to build regional identity among young people living in countries bordering the Baltic Sea. The other objectives are to build sustainable partnerships in the field of youth cooperation (including academic youth and high school students/pupils), cooperation of universities and other institutions located in the borderlands (local governments, academics and teachers, representatives of NGOs and other institutions working for the benefit of youth) from the countries bordering the Baltic Sea.

The project is co-financed from funds of the Council of Baltic Sea States.

The Institute of Political Sciences of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn announces a competition for the logo and slogan of the international project: "Strengthening the identity of the Baltic Sea Region borderlands. Building cooperation for the youth" implemented as part of the Project Support Facility 2022 program of the Council of the Baltic Sea States.

All pupils and students from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia can participate in the competition. The deadline for submitting projects is January 15, 2022. The competition's rules in are available here.
