XXXVIIth Autumn Tribology School 2018, Olsztyn/Ryn, 10-13 September 2018

Topics include, but are not limited to:

• modeling tribological systems,
• nano - and microtribology,
• analysis of tribological processes,
• methodology of tribological research,
• lubricants and lubricating processes,
• materials for friction parts,
• surface layer properties and engineering,
• issues of biotribology,
• methods of designing the friction pairs,
• role of tribology in technology development,
• problems of friction and wear in industrial practice,
• tribology of granular materials,
• diagnostics of tribological processes.  

Submission of the title of the papers with summaries in   Polish (the language of the conference is Polish) should be prepared in accordance with the attached application form and sent in electronic form to the e-mail address: tribologia2018@uwm.edu.pl

Full texts in English with a  volume  8-10 pages, after positive reviews and   timely payment of the conference fee, will be successively published in the journal TRIBOLOGIA (http://t.tribologia.eu/trib/en/).

 Accommodation costs and hotel booking

The conference will be held in the interiors of the carefully restored 14th-century Teutonic Castle surrounded by Masurian nature and in close proximity to the lakes. We hope that the unique atmosphere of the conference venue, the excellent cuisine and attractions offered by the hotel will foster fruitful discussions and exchanges of views and experiences during social meetings. Participants book and pay for the hotel themselves, and send the booking information via e-mail to the conference organizer.
