Students  Ming Lee Ng and Ramakrishnan Piravin Kumar from Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University have won the Third Edition of the Golden Scalpel – International Clinical Anatomy Preparation Skills Competition in Olsztyn. The team from Cracov presented the project "Surgical anatomy of the mediastinum".

The second prize has been awarded ex aequo to the team Kamila Radziszewska and Anna Szlaga from the Medical University of Bialystok, presenting the project "The nasal cavity and paranasal air spaces with particular reference of the maxillary and sphenoid sinuses as sources of widespread infection" and team Natalia Dowgiałło and Katarzyna Stańska from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Warmia and Masuria, presenting the project "Clinical anatomy of the surgical approaches to the orbit".

The third prize went to Tomasz Wieleszczyk from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Warmia and Masuria, presenting the project "Clinical anatomy of the pelvis innervation."
