The Faculty is situated in the area of the so called Kortowo II and occupies three buildings of the total area of around 15 000 m2. The Faculty possesses 3 large lecture halls (150– 200 seats), 15 classrooms located in Departments/Divisions, a students’
computer room, 4 dispensaries for animals, 4 surgery and treatment rooms for small animals and 4 similar rooms
for large animals. Didactic process classes are also conducted in rooms of other Faculties or in generally available University rooms, therefore, the didactic and scientific base of the Faculty is much bigger and in total amounts to around 34 700 m2. Over the last 2–3 years the didactic and scientific base of the Faculty has been considerably improved and modernized (the rooms of the small animals Polyclinic, classrooms in the Division of Animal Products Hygiene, and the Division of Veterinary
Prophylaxis and Feed Hygiene) owing to investment and apparatus grants financed by the Ministry of Education and Science and the European Union within the framework of the Regional Development Integrated Operational Programme. The obtained means also made it possible to additionally equip the Faculty with the newest scientific and research apparatus and diagnostic equipment in the field of clinical sciences.
