Verner Wheelock Associates provides specialist support to companies and organisations dealing with food. Areas covered include food safety, nutrition, auditing, ethical trading/social responsibility. We work closely with technical managers in companies on food safety systems, especially HACCP. We also help marketing and communications teams cope with specific food issues such as Healthy Eating, use of antibiotics and GM foods.



Our projects include:

· Evaluation of Butchers’ Licensing in Scotland for the Food Standards Agency

· Assessment of HACCP implementation in food plants in for Safefood Ireland

· Preparation of specially- tailored training programmes in food safety and nutrition for BUPA



Verner Wheelock Associates is an SME and would be interested in participating in programmes dealing with food safety, nutrition and ethical trading relating to involvement of food companies and dissemination of results
