A Romanian University is searching for a RES partner in order to establish a partnership for an ITN Action.

Title of the project: The use of calorimetry and thermal analysis in the
characterization of different substances and products, including
foodstuffs, drugs, biofuels.

Description of the project: The project aims to extend the research of
our group, based on the use of calorimetry and thermal analysis,
regarding the thermodynamic properties of different compounds (of
biological interest, intermediates in the synthesis of drugs etc.) and
the thermal characterization of various products, such as foodstuffs,
drugs, biofuels. Thermal analysis may serve as a “fingerprint” for the
quality of the product, while calorimetry is essential for obtaining the
energetic value of it.

The change of information and mobility of researchers involved in the
project will help in the dissemination of competencies between different
research groups.
