Polish Journal of Veterinary Sciences accepts short communications, original papers and review articles from the field of, widely understood, veterinary sciences - basic, clinical, environmental, animal-origin food hygiene, feed hygiene, etc.

The language of the Journal is English.

The Journal is owned in equal parts by the Polish Academy of Sciences Committee of Veterinary Sciences and by the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

IMPORTANT: Starting from 1st July 2014 the Editorial Board will no longer accept publication of review articles submitted to the journal. Only reviews written on the invitation by the Editorial Board will be published. However, authors willing to publish the review article may send the abstract of the paper together with the sound justification of its importance to the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board will consult the relevance of the article and, in case of a positive opinion, will invite the authors to submit the review.
