On behalf of the organizers, i.e. members of the CASUS Student Scientific Society of Political Systems at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warmia and Mazury and members of the ZOOM Student Television Circle of the UWM Faculty of Humanities, we are honored to invite you to the 51st edition of the International Scientific Circles Seminar in Olsztyn. This year’s edition of the event will be held under the name:
“Seminar of innovative solutions in the era of a pandemic”
Similarly to previous editions, also this year the seminar will take on an interdisciplinary character, during which participants will be able to share with each other the scientific knowledge gained during their activity in student research clubs in various fields.
Due to the situation in the world, this year’s meeting will be special for us. We found ourselves in a situation that forced us to look at life from a completely different, new perspective. We would like to pay special attention to the important role in our lives, especially in the current time of the COVID-19 pandemic, that the newly created solutions influenced by it still play.
Many of us associate the pandemic with negative emotions and events. Functioning in these times certainly hinders direct interpersonal contacts, but does not prevent research. We will always find a way out in a given situation.
Being limited in one aspect, we unconsciously tend to develop in another. We would like to show this unfavorable time from a different perspective – the perspective of possibilities. Our goal is to promote the search for new solutions. Unusual methods, exchange of ideas and, consequently, changing the world in terms of progress to make it as easy as possible for us to function in it. Thus, we strive to come up with new solutions that will ultimately improve the current standards.
We cordially invite you to take part in this year’s edition of MSKN, which will become a place for the exchange of views, scientific development, perhaps new, valuable acquaintances and contacts, and a source of mutual inspiration for action. We hope to see you …
