On behalf of the Law Faculty of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, we welcome you to the inaugural issue of the University’s Law Review. The theme of this issue is derived from the subject of the University’s annual conference on human rights, which was last held in May, 2008, and which dealt with the right of access to information and knowledge.
The University of Warmia-Mazury in Olsztyn Law Review (“Law Review”) is a peer reviewed journal featuring scholarly and topical article on a variety of legal subjects. Most articles appearing in the Law Review are written in English, although on occasion notable articles will also be published in other languages, accompanied by an English language abstract. The Law Review was first conceived in 2007, and was officially launched in March, 2008. It was created in order to provide academics, students and practitioners with a truly modern, accessible, scholarly international legal journal.
