Faculty of Economic Sciences of THE UNIVERSITY OF WARMIA AND MAZURY IN OLSZTYN is organizing XVI Congress of the Polish Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists (SERiA) .: Agribusiness in globalization conditions which will be held 8-10 of September 2009 in Olsztyn.

We warmly invite you to take part in the XVI Congress of the Polish Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists (SERiA) which will be organized by The Faculty of Economic Sciences of the UWM and held in Olsztyn from 8 to 10 September 2009.

Agribusiness in globalization conditions
The Congress fee has been set as follow:
| 1. Full participation including field trip | 900 PLN |
| 2. Participation excluding field trip | 800 PLN |
| 3. Participation without publication (including field trip) | 650 PLN |
| 4. Fee for one publication, without participation | 430 PLN |
The Congress fee has to be paid in polish zloty (PLN). The guests from abroad cover costs due to bank commission and exchange rates differences resulting from Congress participation fee.
Contribution to Congress is equivalent with joining The Polish Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists as a member. Please fill out the enclosed declaration of membership.
Within the first, second and third variant - participants will receive accommodation at University Student House, full day catering with Gala Dinner and one set of the Congress proceedings. Participants choosing the third variant will not receive the set of Congress proceedings. Variant fourth entitles to receive published author's proceedings.
The participation costs concern papers not longer than 8 pages prepared according to the editor requirements (annex). Additional payment will be required if the paper is longer: 50 PLN for the ninth (9) page and 200 PLN for each next one.
In case of negative paper review and fee reclaim - 200 PLN will be deducted by the right of review.

In the title of bank form should be written: "XVI Kongres" and the name and surname of a person, the payment is done for. The copy of the payment receipt should be also sent to The Organization Committee.

Uniform of requirements
Preparing the article for the Annals it is necessary to guide indications
included in Annals regulations and with the following principles.
The
University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn was established on
September 1, 1999 (Journal of Laws No. 69 of August 20, 1999,
item 762). The University combines a 50-year tradition of the University
of Agriculture and Technology, a 30-year tradition of the Higher Teacher
Education School and a 450-year tradition of theological education in
Warmia.
The University employs over 2 950 persons, including 1 830 academic teachers,
of which 217 hold the title of professor and 250 - the postdoctoral degree
(doctor habilitated). 14 faculties provide education to over 40 000 students,
including 26 560 full-time students, 13 469 part-time students, 526 doctoral
students and 3 100 postgraduate students.
Wydział
Nauk Ekonomicznych, pod nazwą Wydział Zarządzania, powstał w
1995 r. w strukturze ówczesnej Akademii Rolniczo-Technicznej, w której
rok wcześniej uruchomiono kształcenie na kierunku studiów "zarządzanie
i marketing". W ramach działań organizacyjnych związanych z tworzeniem
Uniwersytetu Warmińsko-Mazurskiego, w 1999 roku do Wydziału włączono z
byłej Wyższej Szkoły Pedagogicznej , Instytut Prawa i Administracji, zmieniając
nazwę Wydziału na Wydział Zarządzania i Administracji. Po organizacyjnym
usamodzielnieniu się nauk prawniczych i ich odłączeniu od nauk ekonomicznych
powrócono do nazwy "Wydział Zarządzania", by w roku 2004, po
uruchomieniu kierunku studiów "ekonomia" przyjąć obowiązującą
dotychczas nazwę - Wydział Nauk Ekonomicznych.
