Associate Professor at the Institute of Geography and Land Management, Faculty of Geoengineering, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. She holds a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, in the field of Geodesy and Cartography, Land Information Systems (Cadastre) from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. She also holds a habilitation in the scientific achievement as a series of related publications on "Methodological and practical aspects of assessment of land administration systems”. From the home university, she holds a university teaching qualification. She is a coordinator of such academic courses as Real Estate Information Resources, Land Management, Land Administration Systems. Cadastre. She participated in scientific and teaching training in Germany (Leibnitz University of Hannover) and in the Netherlands (University of Twente).

Currently in her research she represents social sciences in the discipline of socio-economic geography and spatial management. She is an author of over 50 articles and co-organizer of 10 scientific conferences, including international and national conferences on land management and geographic information systems. She has presented her research results at 53 scientific conferences at home and abroad.

Her field of scientific expertise and interests includes technological and functional development of cadastres, land administration systems and spatial data infrastructures, land management and planning, urban development, urban greenery, and smart city. Her last research focuses on the social needs in the context of public spaces to develop friendly solutions, and the development of the concept of smart and fit-for-purpose information systems for management of urban greenery, urban degraded areas, agriculture production.

She carried out research in 5 scientific projects financed from external sources. Currently, she is a manager of 3 research projects financed by the National Science Center (OPUS 18 no 2019/35/B/HS4/01380 “The concept of identifying age-friendly housing estates in the aspect of infrastructural and landscape determinants” 03.08.2020 - 02.08.2023; OPUS 20 no 2020/39/B/HS4/01521 “Algorithm for monitoring the dynamics of travel behaviour in functional urban areas in terms of innovation and risks” 1.07.2021 - 30.06.2024; OPUS 21 no 2021/41/B/HS4/00400 “A geomathematical methodological approach to the diagnosis of spatial awareness in primary school-aged children” 15.12.2021-14.12.2024.

She is a Chief Editor of the Journal “Acta Scientiarum Polonorum Administratio Locorum” (eng. Land Administration). Agnieszka Dawidowicz acts as an expert and reviewer on many journals and conference series.
