Type of submitted reports:

  1. Research Report
    Typical original research report consisting of introduction, aim, materials and methods results and conclusions.
  2. Review and Perspective
    Creative review on specific field of research (state of the art) with conclusions for future developments.
  3. Case Report
    Description of single case (e.g. mutation causing disease in single animal, family).
  4. New Method
    Report focuses only on description of the method, without emphasis on biological goal.
  5. Commentary
    Critical comment of a current and key invention in genetics/genomics.

    Only for SPECIAL SESSION (Education of Animal Genetics and Genomics).

  6. Textbook/new Exercise book/Educational Lab Kit
  7. Educational film (video)
  8. Educational software

All of the above types of reports can be submitted as posters, but selected posters will get a chance for short oral presentations during session. Participant will be informed about that decision before conference).

Abstract rules:

  1. Conference abstract must be written in proofreading English (American or British) and uploaded through the conference website.
  2. One Participant (as presenting author) can submit no more than 2 abstracts.
  3. The deadline for abstract submission is 15th May 2018.
  4. The total length of the abstract should not exceed 5500 keystrokes (characters and spaces), using single-spaced Times New Roman font at 12 points, with 2,54 cm (1 inch) margins all around. In conference book one abstract will then occupy no more than 2 neighboring pages (including ½ empty page for notes).
  5. Each abstract should contain: title; full forename, first letter of second name and surnames of all authors (e.g., Jane F. Fogg, Jan K. Kowalski and Joanna Halska); scientific degrees or positions should not be included.
  6. Abstract title should be written in single-spaced Times New Roman font at 14 points, bold.
  7. Affiliations including full name institution/company, the full name of department/team/project, complete address, e-mail address of corresponding author and the main text. Author affiliations should be footnoted using the numbers 1,2,3, etc.

Guidelines for poster and oral presentation:

  1. The title, authors and affiliations must be exactly the same as in the submitted abstract.
  2. The recommended poster’s size is B1 (1000 mm x 707 mm) and no larger than A0 (1189 mm x 841 mm).
  3. Portrait style orientation is required.
  4. AIM and CONCLUSIONS section are mandatory and should be highlighted.
  5. The proofreading text should be concise and easy to read.
  6. Stickers to hold poster will be available by poster stands.
  7. Each poster will get number. These numbers will be put on poster stands.
  8. During POSTER SESSION, the presence of Presenting Author is required.
  9. Oral presentations should be prepared in MS Power Point version 97-2003 or higher. Recommended version: MS Power Point 2016 (.pptx).
  10. Files with presentations should be uploaded into conference computer before oral presentation (the best time is in the morning during REGISTRATION or during
    COFFEE/TEA break.
