Olsztyn is located at the North-East part of Poland, 200 km from Warsaw or Gdansk.
You can get to Warsaw or to Gdansk by plane (preferable to Warsaw), train or by bus and after that to Olsztyn by train or by bus.

Preferable mean of transport ESVP buses.

There is also a wide range of the ferry lines to Gdansk and Swinoujscie.

From Warsaw to Olsztyn you can get by train    or by bus.

The cost of taxi service from the airport to Central Warsaw railway station is about 30 PLZ.
You may exchange the many at the airport.

• WARSAW - OLSZTYN BY TRAIN
It takes 3 hours by fast train and 3,5 hours by slow train from Central Warsaw railway station to Olsztyn and the same in the opposite way (check up connections).
The ticket for fast train in IInd class costs PLZ 37,41 and in Ist class – PLZ 56,12 (presently).

• WARSAW - OLSZTYN BY BUS
Travelling from Warsaw to Olsztyn by ESVP bus takes 3 h.

Olsztyn - Warszawa - Olsztyn
All delegates who filled in the Transportation Form will be provided with the bus timetable till September the 4 th, 2004.
ESVP bus ticket is 35 Euro one way. You can pay at the registration desk during the Congress.
The ESVP bus will take all delegates directly from the Warsaw airport to their hotels in Olsztyn and back.

TRAVELLING BY CAR
In Poland we drive on the right - hand side of the road.
The driving license is required.
There is a possibility to rent a car. The ”Rent a Car” offices are available at the airport. Borders and preferable passing points.

TRAVELLING BY FERRY
Ferries reach the ports in Swinoujscie and Gdansk (see timetable). From Gdansk to Olsztyn there is a train or bus connection and from Swinoujscie you may get to Olsztyn by train (check up connections).
