    This is a housing estate for the elderly – this is what in 3-4 years’ time developers will be able to claim when selling a flat to a client and it will be the exact truth, not advertising. The fact that they will not be lying will be attributable to the researchers from the University of Warmia and Mazury working on a universal tool for housing estate evaluation.

    First place for “Bel Canto”

    The “Bel Canto” Choir of Olsztyn, directed by Prof. Jan Połowianiuk of the Faculty of Arts of the UWM, won the 1st Prize from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage at the 39th International Festival of Orthodox Church Music in Białystok. Prof. Jan Połowianiuk also received an individual conductor’s award.

    Marta Zawadzka and Dawid Dąbrowski, doctoral students at the University of Warmia and Mazury, are taking part in a project aimed at studying the biodiversity of aquatic insects. About 80 young scientists from all around Europe are participating in it.
