Faculty of Food Sciences

The faculty educates students in food technology, human nutrition, dairy and meet technology, process engineering, commodity science, customs, hotel industry with gastronomy and tourism. The scientific fields of interests include consumer and environmentally friendly food processing, food and nutrition improvement against lifestyle diseases. Many new technologies have been worked out here for various branches of food industry including production technologies of many yellow and cottage (curd) cheeses, protein concentrates and fat mixes.
