Olsztyn
Conference “Old Media” in “New Media” Era – about adjustment strategies of traditional media to new media realitytakes place in Olsztyn. Olsztyn is the biggest city and the capitol of Warmia and Mazury province located in the southern part of Warmia. Olsztyn is a popular tourist destination due to its spectacular nature (13 lakes within city limits) and splendid history (Copernicus used to live here).

The Faculty of Humanities is located in Kortowo, picturesque academic campus and a flagship of UWM. It is considered as one of the most beautiful campuses not only in Poland but also in the world. “National Geographic Traveller” in 2011 awarded Kortowo in the “New wonders of Poland” competition.
